1941 Playball Red Ruffing #20 SGC 88 NM/MT 8. This example is one of the highest ever graded by SGC, with only one other receiving a higher mark. Features bold colors and bright white borders. The image of the Yankee Hall of Famer pitcher is free of any surface blemishes. The centering is everything and more than you would expect from a strong NM-MT example. Under totally unforgiving scrutiny, looking for the reason this card isn't in a higher holder, one can barely notice the slightest hints of fuzz at the top right corner on the front and bottom right corner on the back. This card would upgrade virtually any 1941 Playball set!
