A .288 batter, he was a nine-time AL All-Star. Offered is a 1941 Play Ball card that shows Doerr taking a big cut with his favorite bat. This example of card #64 from the '41 Play Ball set is found in outstanding condition with robust colors, nice centering, good registration, four solid corners and a clean reverse. Graded PSA Mint 9.
