    Description

1941 Double Play Ted Williams/Tabor #57/58 PSA NM-MT 8. When the back of your rookie card reads "has a great future" it is quite a compliment. When that card features HoF legend Ted Williams, it is a master stroke in the fine art of understatement. The youthful Boston prospect was just three years into his illustrious career when this card appeared during the historic 1941 season. The 37 Home Runs, 120 RBIs and 135 Runs are all mere stats compared to his final batting average of .406! It is a number that may be waved at but never be surpassed. It was apparent that the young player was poised to make history. This is a sharp example with not a single blemish. Graded PSA NM-MT 8. One of eight in NM-MT with four rated higher.
