    Description

1941 Double Play Ted Williams/Cronin #81/82 PSA NM 7. While the world was focused on Joe DiMaggio in the summer of '41, Boston had a growing superstar named Ted Williams. It was just his third season but he was already an All-Star and was putting up epic numbers including 37 Home Runs, 135 Runs and then there is that season batting average of .406 that has yet to be bested. If not for "the streak" Williams would certainly have received MVP honors. This is one of two cards featuring Williams, this one along side teammate HoFer Joe Cronin. Very slight tip wear with clean surfaces and close to precise centering. Graded PSA NM 7.
