Signed 1938 Goudey Bobby Doerr #258 PSA Good+ 2.5, PSA/DNA Authentic Auto. Bobby Doerr was a Hall of Fame second baseman for the Boston Red Sox from 1937 to 1951. A steady .288 hitter, he was a nine-time All-Star selection and was inducted into Cooperstown by the Veteran's Committee in 1986. Offered is Doerr's rare 1938 Goudey card which shows his face placed on a cartoonish body sprinting across the infield to field a ground ball. This example of card #258 from the '38 Goudey set is greatly enhanced by Bobby's signature in blue felt pen that graces the front. He signed it and added the inscription "HOF 86."
