1939 Play Ball Vernon Lefty Gomez #48 PSA NM-MT 8. Graded SGC 88 NM/MT 8, one of forty-two at the NM-MT level with only seven higher. Lefty Gomez was, quite simply, one of baseball's great winners when it mattered most. His 6-0 mark during World Series games is still a record and he also holds a 3-0 record in All-Star Game appearances. Here the fiery hurler is featured for his entry in the 1939 Play Ball issue, a tremendous example which is just slight fuzziness at corner tips away from "mint" status.View Certification and Population Details from PSA
