    Description

1936 World Wide Gum Lou Gehrig #96 PSA VG-EX 4. In 1936, people were looking west at a rookie named DiMaggio while Lou Gehrig was still adding to his streak of 2,160 consecutive games played and baseball immortality. Few of his cards are as scarce as his Canadian World Wide Gum card. For the Gehrig specialist, this is a tough addition with little to compare. The one-color graphics are off-center and there is just enough corner wear to keep it from the excellent level. The back shows only extremely light toning and is clean otherwise. The back is printed in both English and French confirming its Canadian origins. Graded PSA VG-EX 4. One of three graded VG-EX with six higher. All from a total population of just 18 submissions.
