1936 Post Grape Nuts Dizzy Dean (Winners Photo Premium) PSA Poor 1. CORRECTION: The title was corrected. This presentation is for the photo premium. The posted images and description were and are correct.The connection between baseball and breakfast foods was a perfect pairing. Kids got to read about and collect images of their big-league heroes on the boxes and mom was assured a hearty first meal of the day. Offered is a handsome 1936 Grape Nuts Premium picture, of Dizzy Dean, looking quite dapper in his baseball finest. These fragile, 8" x 10" paper premiums were obtained by mailing the tops of the boxes of in Grape Nuts cereal to General Mills. Our example was once glued into an album. All four corners of the reverse have triangle-shaped areas of paper loss. His central portrait is virtually flawless and unique to to this issue. Graded PSA Poor 1.
