1934 World Wide Gum Lou Gehrig #92 SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5. Decades before Major League Baseball made its debut north of the forty-ninth parallel the Canadian version of the popular Goudey Gum baseball issue was priming the hockey-loving nation for its arrival. Presented is a gorgeous example celebrating the set's spokesman, bright as a ripe banana and perfectly positioned between four sharp corners. It stands alone atop the SGC population report, the only specimen to achieve this lofty mark with none equaling or surpassing its quality.
