Description

1934 Goudey Lou Gehrig #37 SGC 50 VG/EX 4. This card alone is why Goudey's celebrated sophomore issue is such a collector favorite. Not only is this number 37 card, dedicated to the set's Hall of Fame spokesman, the most valuable of the ninety-six card set. One of two Gehrig entries in the 1934 Goudey issue, both of which are considered classics in the hobby and this portrait of the Iron Horse has become iconic. The offered example has been graded SGC 50 VG/EX 4. The card displays corner wear and is off-centered but there are no creases. The SMR value is $1,350.00.
