    Description

1934-36 R327 Diamond Stars Ted Lyons, 1935 #43 SGC 60 EX 5. Enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame despite never having appeared in a postseason game, Lyons was the rare bright spot on a long-suffering Chicago White Sox squad when the mighty Yanks dominated the American League. "If he'd pitched for the Yankees," manager Joe McCarthy once claimed, "he would have won over 400 games." The right-handed Louisiana native appears on card #43 from the R327 Diamond Star series, this is a "1935" variant and has been graded SGC 60 EX 5. The SMR value is $90.00
