    Description

1934-36 R327 Diamond Stars Rogers Hornsby #44 BVG EX 5. An amazing force at the plate, Rogers Hornsby holds the record for highest batting average in a season with the whopping .424 that he hit in 1924. That year was no fluke though as Hornsby also won two Triple Crowns and two NL MVP Awards. Graded BVG EX 5, this very nice example of his National Chicle "Diamond Stars" card #44, the "1935" variant is decently centered and shows only modest corner wear and light toning.
