1934-36 Diamond Stars Mel Ott #50 SGC 96 Mint 9 - Pop Three, None Higher. A low pop beauty near the pinnacle of known examples. Diamond Stars enthusiasts know the card stock for this set can tone with passage of time even on card with no other physical condition issues. This card has suffered no such fate. There are hints of tone to the reverse and along the bottom edge of the front but the colors are unaffected. The corners are unquestionably sharp and centering is a mere sliver away from precision. A sharp card of the Giants HoF power hitter. This is the "1935" variant. Graded SGC 96 Mint 9, one of a trio for the grade with none graded higher.
