1933 Uncle Jacks Candy Paul Waner SGC 84 NM 7 - None Higher. Paul was the "Big Poison" of the two Waner brothers. His skills suggest he should be a larger house-hold name than he is. Waner was a consistent producer where 200 hits and 100 runs a year were almost expected. The 1927 NL MVP winner racked up 237 hits, 131 RBIs and a .380 batting average, leading the Pirates to the 1927 World Series but put to rest by the famous Murderer's Row. Ironically, Waner recorded his 3,152nd and final career hit playing for the New York Yankees, the only base hit he posted wearing pinstripes. Offered is his Uncle Jacks card printed in Blue. Graded SGC 84 NM 7. One of three graded NM with none higher. One of seven total graded by SGC.
