1933 R319 Goudey Lou Gehrig #92 SGC 10 Poor 1. Card #92 from the 1933 Goudey issue features legendary Hall of Fame first baseman Lou Gehrig with the New York Yankees. Honored with two cards, it is still a mystery why Goudey chose to use the same batting pose twice as this full-figure batting portrait is also used on card #160. Graded SGC 10 Poor 1, the card has consistent corner wear, creasing, surface wear and markings on the card. It is well loved but who can resist adding a vintage Gehrig card to their collection.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
