1933 Goudey Pie Traynor #22 PSA NM-MT 8 - Only One Higher. Hall of Famer "Pie" Traynor and Pittsburgh shared a true love affair. Traynor played his entire 17-year career with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and upon retirement was considered the best third baseman of all time for his 2,400 hits, 1,200+ RBIs and a lifetime .320 batting average. After baseball he served as manager of the Pirates and then worked for a Pittsburgh radio broadcaster for over twenty years from 1944 to 1965. Traynor had his #20 retired by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1972. Offered is one of the finest recorded examples of his lone entry in the '33 series. Graded PSA NM-MT 8. Current pop in NM/MT or higher - Sixteen with just one higher.
