1933 Goudey Phil Todt #86 SGC 88 NM/MT 8. One of four at this grade level with none higher. The wise collector always buys the card, not the holder. This is certainly one of those instances because the holder doesn't seem to do the card justice. The cards is simply stunning. The colors, centering, surface quality, all impressive. The only possible explanation for the grade is a barely noticeable surface imperfection near the upper right corner on the reverse. Some may view it a stock imperfection but that is just one man's opinion. Either way, this is a tremendous example from the 1933 Goudey edition.
