    Description

1933 Goudey Joe Cronin #63 SGC 88 NM/MT 8. In 1933, at the age of 26, Cronin became player/manager of the Washington Senators. In that first year he led the Senators to an American League pennant but lost the World Series to the New York Giants. He also hit .309 that year, finished second in MVP voting, and was the starting shortstop in the inaugural All-Star Game. Nearly perfect centering, very vivid hues and tight registration highlight this high-grade gem. Graded SGC 88 NM/MT 8, one of three at the NM-MT level with just two recorded higher.
