    Description

1933 Goudey Eddie Collins #42 SGC 88 NM/MT 8 - Pop Two, None Higher. Eddie Collins had been retired for three seasons by the time this card saw circulation. His career lasted 21 years in the majors and made the lives of the opposing pitchers a nightmare. A man who could have wrote a book on hitting, Collins batted over .300 for 18 of his 21 seasons. His contribution was an integral (and honest) part of the success of the infamous 1919 Chicago Black Sox team. A wonderful card that exudes quality on every level, Graded SGC 88 NM/MT 8, one of only two to grade as high, there are none higher.
