Description

1933 Goudey Dizzy Dean #223 SGC VG 3. Dizzy Dean, the colorful and charismatic ace of the St. Louis Cardinals' famed "Gashouse Gang," was one of the most dominant pitchers of the 1930s. Known for his blazing fastball, confidence, and larger-than-life personality, he won 30 games in 1934 and led the Cardinals to a World Series championship, later earning a place in the Hall of Fame. The 1933 Goudey #223 Dizzy Dean card is his rookie card and one of the most important issues of the entire Goudey set. Attractive and colorful example that has been rated SGC VG 3 primarily due to moderate corner tip wear. Graded SGC VG 3.
