1933 Goudey Dizzy Dean #223 PSA Authentic, PSA/DNA Auto Authentic - Pop Five, Five Higher. Standing 6' 2" tall, Dizzy Dean was a hard-throwing righthander for the St. Louis Cardinals during the 1930s before eventually joining the Chicago Cubs. His best seasons were with the Redbirds as he posted 30, 28 and 24 victories, respectively, in 1934, '35 and '36. Offered is Dean's 1933 Goudey card, which shows him following through on a pitch. Card #223 from the coveted '33 Goudey series is an important piece to complete the popular 240-card set. This particular example of Dean's card is made even more special by virtue of his sought-after signature gracing the front. The Hall of Famer with 150 career wins to his credit penned his impressive autograph in blue ink and placed "Dizzy" in quotation marks. Graded PSA Authentic with an autograph certified and graded PSA/DNA Auto Authentic. One of only five autographed cards graded AUTHENTIC with five rated higher.
