    Description

1933 Goudey Charlie Ruffing #56 PSA NM-MT 8. Charles Ruffing made his Major League debut in 1924 with the Boston Red Sox. His years in Beantown were not kind. The future HoFer found himself traded to the hated New York Yankees in 1930. New York was more to his taste it seems as he won 15 games for the Bronx Bombers that year compared to 39 Boston victories to his credit from 1924 to 1929. While with New York, Ruffing had four 20+ win seasons retiring with a 231-124 (.651) wearing the classic Yankee pinstripes. Offered is one of the finest examples of his card from the 1933 Goudey baseball series. Graded PSA NM-MT 8. One of twenty-five graded NM-MT with just three rated higher. This is a fantastic card with no flaws aside from some very mild corner tip wear.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
