1933 Goudey Charley Gehringer #222 PSA NM-MT 8 - Only Two Higher. One of the greatest all-around ball players the game has ever seen, Charles Gehringer is featured on card #222 from the 1933 Goudey series. Gehringer played for 19 years, all for the Detroit Tigers, and was a extraordinary batsmen. His best season was 1937 when he batted .371 (winning the AL MVP Award as well) and would retire with a lifetime .320 batting average. HoF honors came in 1949. When he passed away in 1993 he was 90-years old. Attractive example with rich hues and clean white border. Corners are all mint-ish. Graded PSA NM-MT 8.
