Description

1933 Goudey Babe Ruth #149 PSA Poor 1. The late, great Babe Ruth was baseball's most entertaining showman and one of its most prolific sluggers. He developed a well-deserved following who only wanted to see the master batsman hit prodigious home run shots. He kindly obliged to the tune of 714 round-trippers by the time he hung up his cleats. In the end, Ruth boasted a .342 lifetime batting average and 2,214 runs batted in.

Presented is one of four different Ruth cards that were issued in the historic 1933 Goudey set. Card #149 shows the "Sultan of Swat" doing what he did best for the New York Yankees. This low-grade example of the card shows its age with wear to the surface and two obvious creases, but remains a classic for any serious Ruth and/or Yankees collector. Graded PSA Poor 1.
