    Description

1933 Goudey Babe Ruth #144 SGC 50 VG/EX 4. The very essence of the Depression-era game, all found within a single three-inch tall piece of cardboard. One of baseball card collecting's "Big Three," the 1933 Goudey set is rightfully considered a consummate masterpiece that saw fit to honor Babe Ruth on no less than four cards. And certainly there was none more recognizable than Babe Ruth striking his classic batting pose, easily the set's most recognizable card.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
