Description

1933 George C. Miller Charlie Gehringer PSA NM 7 - Pop One, None Higher! The 1933 George C. Miller set, issued in one-cent packages of toffee during the grim days of the Great Depression, features unique artwork that is very much of that era. The thirty-two card set features sixteen AL ballplayers and sixteen of their NL counterparts. Offered is a spectacular high-grade example of the card of Hall of Fame second baseman, Charlie Gehringer. He was known as "Mechanical Man" for good reason: he could hit like a machine and was a solid defensive player. His skill set enabled him to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1949. Our offered card is worthy of such a player. Graded PSA NM 7. A terrific example with no obvious flaws. From a total population of thirty-six with one at this grade and none higher.
