    Description

1933-36 E137 Zeenut Lefty O'Doul, with Coupon PSA VG-EX 4 - Highest Graded of Only Two! To the surprise of many, Lefty O'Doul retired with a batting average of .349 trailing only Cobb, Hornsby and Shoeless Joe Jackson. After an 11-year career in the majors, O'Doul managed the San Francisco Seals of the Pacific Coast League from 1935 to 1951. One of his star players was a talented youngster named Joe DiMaggio. The two became such friends we was invited by the Yankee Clipper to go along on his honeymoon with Marilyn Monroe. Offered is his scarce, post-MLB card from the 1935 E137 Zeenut series with the rarely seen coupon intact. The "White Sleeves" variant has been graded PSA VG-EX 4, the finest of just two examples graded by PSA!
