1932 U.S. Caramel Rogers Hornsby #11 SGC Poor 1. Issued just prior to the magic year for gum cards - 1933 - the R328 issue or the 1932 U.S. Caramel series is really the last of the great caramel sets bringing close to a genre that dates back to the early 20th Century. These cards are particularly tough, in part because they could be redeemed by young collectors for baseballs and fielder's gloves upon completion of a set. Offered is a nicely centered example of Rogers Hornsby that has been graded SGC Poor 1. Rated for obvious corner wear and creasing.Auction Info
