    Description

1932 U.S. Caramel Jack Sharkey #25 PSA Mint 9 - Pop One, None Higher! ! "Sailor" Tom Sharkey was a tough, durable fighter who began his boxing days while serving in the Navy. His short stocky build enabled him to deliver a powerful punch that gave him the ability to absorb punishment. Sharkey quickly moved up the ranks of the heavyweight division with a string of knockout victories. His two epic ring wars with James J. Jeffries are legendary. Both fights went the distance, twenty and twenty-five rounds respectably, with Jeffries winning two close decisions. These two ring battles were so prominent that twenty years after their last fight the two old warriors would tour together on the vaudeville circuit. He is one of three pugilists honored in the series. A stunning, close to flawless card. Graded PSA Mint 9. Pop One-of-One With None Higher! with none graded higher.
