Description

1932 U.S. Caramel Frankie Frisch #30 SGC 84 NM 7 - Only Three Higher. Considering his many accomplishments on the field, it is surprising Frank Frisch is not afforded more respect. Undoubtedly one of the greatest switch-hitters of all-time he contributed a great amount to the success enjoyed by "The Gashouse Gang" in St. Louis in the 1930's. The Cards would win four pennants over eight seasons with Frisch in the batting order. His lifetime .316 BA is the highest ever for a switch hitter. His inclusion is more than justified as "The Fordham Flash" was the National league MVP in 1931. Graded SGC 84 NM 7. If the little bit of print that is on the obverse of the card was not here, we would be charting higher on the grading scale. Regardless, this card has sharp corners, pleasant centering and an evenly toned border.
