Signed 1914 E224 "Texas Tommy" Type 2 Harry Hooper With Full PSA/DNA Letter. The "Texas Tommy" issue of 1914 is one of the rarest card promotions of the early 20th Century. Even the more advanced collections fail to include a single representative. This could possibly be the ultimate type card as it not only features HoFer Harry Hooper of the Boston Red Sox but it is autographed by Hooper as well! An almost too good to be true scenario. The card is a mere 1-13/16 x 3-1/16" with no border. The blank-back has very light amounts of residue not easily seen with a casual review. In the upper left corner "Harry Hooper" is written in ink, the glossy surface not being the best surface for an ink pen but the signature still rates at the 6-7 level. The card its self is a strong NM example with the exception of the reverse. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
