    Description

Vintage Hartland - 1950's General George Armstrong Custer With Box. Figure #814 of the Hartland library is General George Armstrong Custer. Issued in 1957, Custer is one of a trio of famous American generals to be immortalized in plastic. Nicely preserved, the horse and rider are accompanied by a retail box that presents at the VG level but has had cardboard added to the upper portion of the interior to bolster card strength and secure the integrity of the box. Included are the reins, saddle, cinch, horse, figure, pistol, hat and fragile American flag but his trusty sword has been lost to the ages. Overall presentation quality is near-mint, the horse does have some light spots of surface wear that has lightened the paint.
