The bid request email must include your HA Customer Number, the Lot Number, and the Straight Bid Amount.Hall of Famer Hank Aaron was one of the most prolific home runs hitters in Major League Baseball history. Playing 23 seasons in the Big Leagues, he averaged an eye-popping 33 round-trippers every year. In fact, on April 8, 1974, Aaron launched home run No. 715 to surpass the great Babe Ruth in career home runs, breaking the Bambino's record which had stood since 1935. Playing two more seasons, Aaron wound up with 755 homers to his credit, a mark that was not surpassed until Barry Bonds came along and hit HR No. 756 on August 7, 2007.
In total, Aaron collected 3,771 hits, drove in a league-best 2,297 runs and compiled a lifetime batting average of .305. Although he finished his MLB tenure wearing a Milwaukee Brewers uniform for two seasons, he competed for most his career with the Braves (first in Milwaukee, then in Atlanta). A soft-spoken man with a wicked swing, Aaron was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame as a first-ballot shoo-in in 1982. He passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 86.
Offered is a rare collection of 24 Hank Aaron-signed baseball cards that span the entirety of his Hall of Fame career. Starting with his 1954 Topps rookie #128 and culminating with his 1976 Topps #550, the assortment includes a pair of autographed cards from 1955 (Topps #47 and Bowman #179) and features an array of inks and markers that were used by "Hammerin' Hank" on the card fronts. Entitled the "Hank Aaron Basic Autographed Set (24 cards)," this collection is ranked #1 Current and All-Time on the PSA Set Registry. This represents an incredible accumulation of autographs from one of baseball's finest players ever.
Note that each card in this lot is being offered individually as lots 58848 to 58871.
