    Rare 1966 Venezuelan Topps Near Set (365/370) - Rebound In Album. Offered is a rare glimpse into the rarified world of Topps baseball cards issued in Venezuela. The 1966 promotion consists of the first 370 cards from the USA edition. Offered is a 365-card near set, glued into the specially designed pages with printed player names, teams, etc. Among the stars/HoFers found within are Willie Mays (ink), Phil Niekro, Pete Rose, Catfish Hunter, Mickey Mantle, Bob Gibson, Roger Maris (ink), Carl Yastrzemski, Tony Perez, Red Schoendienst, Luis Aparicio, Bob Uecker, Buc Belters (Stargell), Sandy Koufax, Ernie Banks, Harmon Killebrew (ink), Lou Brock, Jim Palmer Rookie, Roberto Clemente, F. Robinson, Whitey Ford, Joe Morgan, Eddie Mathews, Bill Mazeroski, Fergie Jenkins Rookie, Willie Stargell, Tiant, Don Sutton Rookie, Ron Santo, League Leaders (all 12) and Team Cards with a couple Checklists. Cards present in PR to EX and are glued to paper pages except for #'s 34 CL, 131, 172, 183 CL, 353. Some have names in ink on front. The pages are from an original album made for these cards. All have been trimmed for rebinding. Bottom captions are all missing as are many of the right edges with some cards affected. At the spine, one commonly finds glue and tape. Some pages have tearing, one page is loose. All pages have been bound in a modern blue vinyl album with gold lettering that reads, "ALBUM - BASEBALL - 1966 - GRANDES LUCAS - SERIES 1-2-3Y4 - Freddy R. Perez C. A fascinating collectible that although not in an ideal state of preservation is rarely, if ever encountered.
