1968 Topps Test Baseball Plaks Empty Display Box GAI 9.5. This extremely rare and seemingly uncirculated piece has been graded Gem Mint 9.5 by Global Authentication. Offered is an empty but barely handled wax pack box from the Topps test series called "Baseball Plaks" from 1968. While the prized contents is not there even the most veteran Topps test specialist will attest to the "Gotta have it" euphoria upon seeing this colorful and treasured memento. A true crown jewel of any advanced collection, the box, which many have only heard of, is adorned by six head and shoulder illustrations, a glimpse of the toys once contained within. Copy on the box promised a dozen, now long-gone, 10-cent packs, each of which contained a trio of baseball busts. The box measures 8" x 4-3/4" x 1-1/4" and has retained bright hues and blemish free surfaces. A phenomenal rarity in both condition and availability. This box is startling in appearance and certainly must be one of the finest known examples in existence.

More Information: NOTE: The patch of white between the label and the box is the remains of a white sticker label of unknown origion and does not affect the box.
