    Description

1964 Topps Rookie All-Star Banquet Boxed Set (36). Since 1959 Topps has sponsored a formal post-season banquet to honor its annual Rookie All-Star team. In 1964, the gum company deviated from the traditional dinner program by issuing a 36-card boxed set. Each card in this unique dinner program measures 3" x 5-1/4" and is numbered as a "PAGE" in the lower right-hand corner. Highlights include #8 The 1959 Topps Rookie All-Star Team, 9 The 1960 Topps Rookie All-Star Team, 12 The 1963 Topps Rookie All-Star Team, 19 Richie Allen, 25 Tony Conigliaro, 27 Tony Oliva. The #1 Header Card and #35 Rookie All-Star Trophy cards are creased, but remaining cards grade NM or better.
