Description
1963 Fleer Baseball Near Complete Set (66/67). A lawsuit brought by Topps halted Fleer's 1963 set production at one series of 66 cards. The cards were issued with a cookie rather than the then customary slab of gum. An unnumbered checklist was issued with the set and, along with the #46 Joe Adcock card, is considered scarce. This near set is missing only #27 Tom Cheney and grades EX to EX/MT with few exceptions. Also present is an additional #61 Bob Gibson card. Highlights include #5 Willie Mays (EX/MT), 8 Carl Yastrzemski (EX/MT), 42 Sandy Koufax (EX/MT), 46 Joe Adcock (OC), 56 Roberto Clemente (EX/MT), Checklist (VG).Auction Info
