1962 Topps Baseball Near Master Set (690/691) - All Cards Graded PSA NM 7 or Higher!

UPDATE: There is only one card #455 included with this lot and it is graded PSA NM-MT 8, a few typos were also corrected.

For a generation who followed baseball through trading cards, 1962 were the first cards produced that followed the Maris/Mantle feat of Ruth-ian proportion, and they lit a fire for the new season with the belief that anything was possible. This set release included "green tint" variations for the first time. These green tint cards were a product of the lack of magenta plating when printing the cards. This set features all green tint variations, and features 690 total cards, one short of reaching complete master set. The one card missing is Checklist #192 with variation. All cards have been graded PSA NM 7, with the exception of 3 cards which grade higher. Also featured in this set are 32 additional ungraded cards, including 13 proof pictures, 5 progressive color proofs, 5 blank backs, 4 wrong backs, 4 no black ink on back errors, and a Bobby Smith Cubs card changed to Cardinals before issuing. This is an incredibly difficult set to put together and many of these oddities exist in small numbers at these high grades.
