1962 Topps Baseball High Grade Presentation Set (598) With Presentation Boxes. Could you imagine what it would be like to open an original factory set of baseball cards from the 1960's? That is what is offered at auction today, a 1962 Topps Baseball High Grade Presentation set. For a brief period of time, Topps produced exclusive factory sets of their yearly issues to be delivered to team owners, players, company representatives and baseball dignitaries. Sy Berger, the Vice-president of Sports & Licensing at Topps and grandfather to modern baseball cards would include a note in each box. Sy Berger's original note is gone, but to find a set with the 5 custom holders that they came in is a true find. These were produced on an extremely limited basis and today are referred to as "Presentation Sets."
