    1961 Peters Meats Minnesota Twins High Grade Complete Set (26). When the door gracefully closed on the era of Senators, a bright new door opened up professional baseball to the state of Minnesota. Who better to help celebrate the newly formed Minnesota Twins but "Peters Meats" makers of meat products which would be enthusiastically consumed by hungry baseball fans. This complete set never came in contact with any meat products and offers two distinct styles of packaging: "Porkettes" (4) and "Skinless Weiners" (22). Stars include #'s 1 Versalles, 2 Lopat, 7 Jim Kaat and 26 Harmon Killebrew. A third of the items has a crease usually at a bottom tab; The card panel areas are unaffected by this and are all NM to MINT.
