    Description

1960 Lake to Lake Milwaukee Braves Complete Set (28) - #2 on the PSA Set Registry! Rank: #2 "All Time Finest" list on the PSA Set Registry with a 7.74 GPA. Lake to Lake Dairy made the hometown Milwaukee Braves the honorees of a 28-card promotion of one-color cards which are usually found with holes as they were stapled to cartons when originally sold. With not one tiny hole to speak of, this presentation--including the rare Boone and Bruton short prints--seemingly never saw public distribution. The manner and limitations of circulation have made pursuing a complete set -- let alone a high-grade assembly such as this -- quite the challenge for modern hobbyists. A dozen cards represent the highest grade known on the PSA census. Includes: PSA NM-MT+ 8.5: 2 cards, Johnny Logan and Al Spangler (Pop One, Highest!); PSA NM-MT 8: 12 cards, Ray Boone (Pop One, Highest!), Chuck Cottier, Del Crandall, Chuck Dressen, Bob Giggie, Felix Mantilla (Highest), George Myatt (Pop One, Highest!), Andy Pafko, Mel Roach (Highest), Red Schoendienst, Frank Torre (Pop One, Highest!), Carlton Willey; PSA NM+ 7.5: 1 card, Lee Maye (Pop One, Highest!); PSA NM 7: 11 cards, Hank Aaron, Joe Adcock, Bob Buhl, Lew Burdette, Wes Covington, Joey Jay, Juan Pizarro, Bob Rush (Pop One, Highest!), Bob Scheffing, Warren Spahn, Whit Wyatt; PSA EX-MT+ 6.5: 1 card, Bill Bruton; PSA EX-MT 6: 1 card, Don McMahon.
