Description
1959 Fleer Ted Williams High Grade Complete Set (80). The 80-card release from Fleer tells the life story of baseball legend Ted Williams, from early childhood through the 1958 season. Card #68 was withdrawn from the set early in production and is considered scarce. This is a nice set in which the cards that have been graded at the EX to EX/MT level are more for centering issues and not corner problems. A total of 12 cards have been graded by SGC. Highlights include: Graded Cards - SGC 96 MINT 9: 2 cards, #'s 67 Williams/Snead and 69; SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5: 1 card, #46; SGC 88 NM/MT 8: 5 cards, #'s 24, 52, 58, 65 and 77; SGC 86 NM+ 7.5: 1 card, #18; SGC 84 NM 7: 2 cards, #'s 21 and 75 Collins/Ruth/Williams; SGC 70 EX+ 5.5: 1 card, #68 Ted Signs.
