Description
1955 Red Man Baseball Complete Set (50). The Red Man sets were among the last of the baseball issues released by a tobacco company. They are of a unique size and shape, 3 1/3" x 4", and featured high quality full-color painted renditions of the top players of the day. The cards also had tabs that could be removed and mailed in to be exchanged for a ball cap. Offered is a 50-card complete set of 1955 Red Man baseball cards. A total of 18 cards have been graded by PSA. Includes: Graded - PSA MINT 9: 1 card, 17 NL; PSA NM-MT+ 8.5: 7 cards, 5 NL, 7 NL Mays, 8 AL Lemon, 11 AL, 12 AL, 16 AL Berra. 21 AL; PSA NM-MT 8: 7 cards, 1 NL Ashburn, 3 AL Ford, 4 AL Fox, 12 NL Wilhelm, 16 NL Kluszewski, 24 AL Minoso. 25 AL; SGC NM+ 7.5: 1 card, 4 NL; PSA NM 7: 1 card, 15; PSA EX-MT 6: 1 card, 16 NL Snider. Ungraded - 14 AL Wynn (EX/MT), 18 AL Doby (NM), 3 NL Hodges (EX/MT), 10 NL Spahn (EX), 17 NL Reese (EX/MT), 18 NL Schoendienst (EX/MT).
