1952 Bowman Baseball Complete Set (252). The 1950's are considered to be the greatest decade when it comes to baseball card sets. With Topps and Bowman fighting for the top of the heap in the early 1950's, both companies forced the other to constantly improve their product. This offered 1952 Bowman baseball complete set of 252 cards certainly bears witness. The 1952 Topps set is considered to reign supreme, but the 1952 release is arguably the better looking set as the lifelike portraits in full color along with the players facsimile autograph on the obverse.
