1948 Bowman Baseball Complete Set (48). Offered is a 1948 Bowman Baseball set, the first major release following the end of World War II. Though modest in size at just 48 cards, the issue signaled baseball's return to center stage and is widely regarded as the starting point of modern card production. The set features an extraordinary rookie class, including Hall of Famers Stan Musial, Ralph Kiner, Warren Spahn, Phil Rizzuto, Enos Slaughter, and Yogi Berra, forming a remarkable foundation of the postwar hobby. A total of 7 cards have been graded by SGC.
