    Description

1936 R322 Goudey Baseball Complete Set (25) - #1 on the SGC set Registry! Set GPA: 82.4. Rank: #1 on the SGC Set Registry! Offered is a 25-card complete set of '36 Goudey baseball cards, but not just any assembly of these scarce black & white collectibles. Maybe not as flashy and colorful as their earlier Goudey productions, this set is actually the most challenging Goudey baseball production to complete next to their final effort in 1941 with a subject roster including some of the finest of the era. Taking this series to completion is difficult enough, try doing so at this high level of quality. Not a single card is below the EX plateau with 16 cards (64%) grading NM to MINT. Includes: Graded - SGC 96 MINT 9: 1 card, Hemsley; SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5: 2 cards, Brubaker and Castleman; SGC 88 NM/MT 8: 5 cards, Cochrane, Coscarart, Greenberg, Klein and Martin; SGC 84 NM 7: 8 cards, Bonura, Bordagaray, Crosetti, Dykes, Hildebrand, Newsom, Vosmik and Werber; SGC 80 EX/NM 6: 5 cards, Berger, Camilli, Ferrell, Harris and Waner; SGC 70 EX+ 5.5: 3 cards, Cuyler, Derringer and Higgins; SGC 60 EX 5: 1 card, Gomez.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
