    1931-44 Chicago Cubs Team Picture Pack Sets (5) Plus Envelopes. The team picture pack first appeared in the early 1930's and was a staple at stadium souvenir stands well into the 1950's. Offered is a selection of five near or complete sets featuring the Chicago Cubs with four original envelopes. Stars making appearances are Cavaretta, Foxx, Pafko, Sauer, Stanky, Cuyler, Grimes, Hartnett, Herman, Hack, Dizzy Dean and Root. The group includes sets from the 1931 Chicago Cubs Near Set (30/35, missing Beck, Donahue, Lewis, Seys, PK Wrigley), 1933 Chicago Cubs Complete Set (30) - No envelope, 1939 Chicago Cubs Complete Set (25), 1942 Chicago Cubs Near Set (22/26, missing Dean, Grimm, Spalding, Wilson) and 1944 Chicago Cubs Complete Set (25). All envelopes are in FR to GD condition with writing of some form or another. The 1931 set grades mainly VG/EX to EX, the others (with a few exceptions in each) grade EX to EX/MT.
