1929 R316 Kashin Baseball Premium Photos Near Set (99/101). The R316 Kashin Premium cards deviate from the standard baseball card size of that era, featuring larger dimensions and far lesser availability. This set is extremely difficult to complete. This unique sizing 5" X 7", along with the classic design elements, gives them a charm and distinctiveness compared to the standard cards. These R316 Premiums are significantly rarer than the base-issue R316 Kashin cards. To date, PSA has only graded a total of 77 R316 Kashin Premiums, compared to almost 2,500 examples of the regular cards. The cards typically display a black-and-white or sepia-toned photograph of the player, providing a snapshot of baseball's early years. These cards are cherished artifacts from a time when baseball cards were emerging as sought-after collectibles. Their larger size, classic design, and connection to the promotional practices of the era make them prized possessions for collectors who appreciate the rich history of baseball memorabilia. Many Hall of Famers are included within this collection, with Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig (missing here) but are being offered as single cards within this auction. A total of 12 cards have been graded by PSA.
