    Description

1927 Rinkydink Baseball Stamps Complete Set (10) - A Rare Full Pages Set! Here is a set that is not only fun to collect but will make you laugh. Offered is a complete set of ten 1927 Rinkydink Baseball Stamps. Definitely not a set you see being offered every day. Ruth is advertised as the first stamp of the "2nd Series." They are "stamps" in design only as the appeared in the upper corner of the "Winnie Winkle" Sunday comic strip. Players include some of baseball finest like Ruth, Cobb, Alexander, Collins, Hornsby, Johnson, Speaker, Kelly, Pennock and Harris. There is moisture staining affecting the upper corner where the 1-1/4"x1-2/2" stamps are but all are flat. Kelly has some wrinkling and Collins has a piece of tape on the reverse. The 15-1/2x20-1/2" pages are in very-good condition with good paper quality, holes from binding affect one edge. A rarely offered set in its truest form.
