1927 E126 American Caramel Complete Set (60) - #2 on the SGC Set Registry! Rank: # 2 on the SGC Set Registry with a 34.3 GPA. E126s are scarce and extremely condition sensitive. The series wasn't even listed until the American Card Catalog was updated in the late 1960's. The set utilizes very fragile paper with a thin glossy coating which creases very easily. Ironically, the paper is so thin creasing doesn't always dramatically affect visual appeal as some of the middle and lower graded cards will attest to. The set appeared in that mystical year of 1927 and brought to a close the era of baseball related "E" card productions. To the best of our research, this is one of less than a handful of opportunities to acquire a full E126 set at public auction in the last decade and the first in years.
